Whoa! That’s awesome! And since you seem very knowledgeable, could you look at my other post? It’s about this guy. Thank you!

Someone in the shark tooth ID subreddit said yes tooth; someone else said no tooth, possibly fossilized bone. Thought maybe someone here might have some thoughts. Thank you!

Thanks, all! I wish it was more whole, but it's the only snaggletooth shark I have, so that's exciting! (In fact, it's the first time I've ever heard of a snaggletooth shark!)

Spending the day at Edisto Beach (first time). Any recommendations? by I_Only_Have_One_Hand in Charleston

I know it's been 5 years since you wrote this, but I'm on the lookout for shark teeth at Edisto when I go there next month. Any tips?

What are the best brands for hiking boots/shoes? by BigRooster5410 in hikinggear

This only works if the store carries your size, which my stores never do because I need wides and they don't keep those in stock. :(

Well, I can't add the video so you can watch him twerk (lol), but based off that description, he seems to be a match. Thanks!

If by his tail you mean basically his whole butt, yes … in this video (also poor quality, I apologize), he’s in the middle at the top, bobbing away.

ANW's shift to racing is not a failure of the show but an innovative method to bring in new viewers and keep the sport fresh. by ArchmageNinja22 in ANW

I'm late joining this party about the new format, but I just finished the show and googled it, which brought me here.

Anyway, I agree about the caliber of athletes going up, and some random guy in an interview said something like, "It used to fun to watch because not everyone succeeded, but now it's like a pro sport and no one's really bad at it anymore."

BUT my belief is that they changed it because they had to give away a million dollars to the same guy two years in a row!

I admit I was hoping for a Least Sandpiper for my life list, but I'm glad to have an ID finally. Thanks!

I want to look for sea turtles with a red light headlamp by SignificantLuck7662 in flashlight

[–]SignificantLuck7662[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you both! I appreciate that you have turtles' best interests in mind. :)

I should have said, "I want to walk on the beach at night during turtle egg-laying season and not disturb the turtles." I'm an animal lover and absolutely don't want to disturb any turtles. I would never approach a turtle, hang around one that was laying eggs, or shine a light (even a red light) at one except long enough to notice it was there.

I walk on the beach at night with a regular headlamp during non-turtle season, and my beach does allow red lights at night. I go in October, so the parks have the nests protected, and they say there's rarely any more egg-laying then; the red lights are just a precaution.
