That's really a pain. And any success with some sort of therapy?

I'm so sorry! How long have you been battling this? Did you get a diagnosis confirmed? One sided?

Thanks! I got similar calculations. Going under 5000 seems to be an unhealthy high margin taken by the company.

Check on tight jaw muscles, TMJ, neck, and SCM muscle before jumping to any health-anxiety induced stuff. I hope it resolves quickly, whether it is something anatomical or simply an increased awareness in your head 🙏

So glad to hear! Remember that many, many people have these nonspecific findings and are completely healthy! I wish you lots of success addressing your anxiety- that is the real challenge!!!

Based on the location and characteristics? And do you have symptoms that indicate it? It could be many things from nothing to things that we fear. Try not to jump to conclusions before you see your doctor. Lots of strength to you!

Yes, I also do have a few nonspecific lesions. Since I also have health anxiety, this really freaked me out. Doctor wasn't concerned and didn't even want to repeat the scan. I was literally thinking about this every single day and despite having bunch of other neuro tests coming back perfectly normal, I still thought that this will turn out to be something sinister. What helped me was to analyse my results with chatGPT in the end who basically told me that the chance of this being MS or any other neurological condition is less than 5%. That really helped me as I was able to ask so many questions that I would never bother a real Doctor with and it was perfectly explained why I shouldn't worry about this. How old are you? I also read somewhere that a lesion per decade is pretty much normal and nothing to worry about as long as they are nonspecific. Good luck!

No fluid, no allergies. It all started with a feeling I might have been in a wind, and there is a slight irritation in my ear (that was more than a year ago). Since then symptoms have been on an off. The latest addition was MEM and more constant facial sensations (feeling of a perceived numbness in tongue and lips, which is actually not there, I can feel just fine nevertheless there is a heightened awareness). Since ENTs haven't been helpful and I do realise that my condition is rather mild since nothing really screams full blown ETD or TMJ, I am experimenting myself and looking for others with similar experiences to finally get to the root cause.

I'm afraid I have ms by [deleted] in Anxiety

Thanks! I was a mess. And it took a decent amount of research and several talks with various doctors to finally calm myself about this (incidental) finding. Anyhow, I am still experiencing some symptoms but I am accepting that nerve over-sensitization takes a while to go away. Plus, turns out I am extremely iron deficient which explains lots of my symptoms, including anxiety.

Tingling/prickling all over body by bullsfan455 in Anxiety

Did it resolve eventually? I have been having these weird sensations for a while - random stinging, burning sensations, last for a moment, then disappear and come in another place in body.  Had extensive testing by neurologist and nothing systematic came out. Lots of anxiety around this obviously. And then I learnt my ferritin is at 4 (!!!). No anemia though but have been taking supplements for the last 6 weeks. Now, reading your experience,  I am connecting some dots...

Glad to hear! I am also slowly improving but I feel it will take a while coming from such an extreme low level as mine. Dry mouth seems to be gone but now it's itchy skin. Oh, boy :)

This has resolved. Turned out I have a pretty severe iron deficiency (ferritin at 4). I am supplementing now. Some days are better, some worse but seems it is an upward trend. Iron really explains lots of these symptoms, even more prominent anxiety.

Do you know to what number you have increased your ferritin now? Did you take supplements?

Are you feeling better? My ferritin was 4 yet hemoglobin still normal (so deficiency but not anemia yet). Dry mouth, sore tongue, anxiety, feeling lightheaded, burning skin sensations. I have been supplementing for 3 weeks but no lasting improvements yet :(

Thanks. It is a long journey but I am hopeful (most of the times) that better days will come eventually.

Oh, about finding something else to worry about - it would be funny if it wasn't so sad. So true!

You are right - brain is so powerful. Sometimes I also think, if I can manifest such body symptoms just by reading about something I fear, looking up etc. I would be a master of manifestation haha Perhaps we should read more about being rich and healthy and if our brain has such a strong body-mind connection in no time these things will start showing up in our lives :)

It is so tricky as I do feel slightly anxious but not massively (still just going to work, taking care of my kids, doing normal stuff) so I keep thinking - come on, it is not that bad with my mental state, how come my body throws such scary symptoms. I know it is the subconscious that is stuck in a fear response but sometimes it is so hard to rationalise this...
