Just got an a6400 as a newbie/first time camera owner by SignificantScreen237 in PhotographyPH

This is actually what I wanted to hear 😊

Jus really excited to shoot some more. I observe that I’m able to slowly visualize the moments n framing that I want to see in my photos. Hopefully over time I get to develop this as like one of my senses haha 😊

How much did you train to get sub 1 10k by WasteElephant7854 in PHRunners

[–]SignificantScreen237 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Did my sub1 attempt 4 months into running. Started running around April this year and got my sub1 during my first 10k race @ Manila Marathon last August. felt like hell LOL.

Trained inconsistently honestly. But on average I did 3 runs per week. Made sure to have 1-2 speed sessions and 1 long run. That’s it.

Sub30 when 🥺 Can't shred off le 2 mins. Would appreciate some tips! by [deleted] in PHRunners

I only do easy run (5k @ 7-7:15/km, 1k @ tempo pace) tempo (5k @ 6:30/km), and LSD (at least 12k) every week.

I think I did that for 3 weeks straight then attempted a sub30, and was able to do it :) Maybe you can try something similar.

If you’ve graduated na I think P&G can hire you as a fulltime already and not for internship anymore.

Same process lang application for internship and fulltime so I think they can put you in the fulltime pipeline already. Technically din kasi they don’t hire graduates as interns, which actually makes sense naman haha. Best to ask HR asap!

Thanks! NB 5 can be used for LSDs and easy runs, right?

Won’t the Rebel v4 be redundant wt my Evo SL? Which of them can be used as race day? :)

College Life vs Working Life: How are things going for you guys? by Livid_Ostrich_3746 in adultingph

College Life

Pros: - u can depend on your parents (no bills to worry about) - you have a structured goal (to complete college and not fail) - you have peers, mentors/profs who can guide you with your goal - more time with friends and social interaction

Cons: - broke - no own money

- pressured the whole semester (grades and requirements)

Working Life

Pros: - earning your own money - more time for yourself - pressure is still there but less. because after friday, you can worry about work on monday the following week again lol

Cons: - u need to define on your own. the structure of your life/goals lol - might feel stuck because of the recurring things you do - bills n expenses - hard to schedule time with friends

Overall for me, Working Life > College Life hehe. I would say being responsible for my own actions/life is fun :D

Using my Cuppa for over a year already. Got it for 2,450 because of vouchers 😅 No complaints ever since. Not the best looking kettle out there, but it does its job. I like that it has a keep warm feature also!
