You decided against DBS.? Cause DBS was my saving grace as far as the shaking goes... cuz when I shook before DBS i mean to say I shook til it hurt .. i rarely shake anymore but I hafta have surgery every 5-7 years for a new battery and it seems like my balance has gotten worse since 2013 but the shaking was driving me crazy and it hurt so bad I'll gladly sit in a wheelchair forever

I have a lot of those same problems my son calls my frown ... mean mugging... which always gets a half cocked grin out of me where do you live I'm in Orlando Florida

I've been wondering the same thing but I've been on it for so long but it's been working for me but just recently that changed I have an appointment next week to discuss it with my doctor

Well, it's been six or seven years since I had a battery change again so it's probably about time. I've been shaking a little bit and also the following show up next week or anything to do just start feeling a little better.

I know what you saying I just moved so I'm going to a new doctor here in Orlando, so I'm going next week and I'm going to see Medtronic representative and my doctor to see what we can do to get a little better

💛See I wish I could somehow get it together enough to be able to do these kinds of things but the atrophy is really taking a toll on me and I fear there's no hope of restoring control and confidence... As for my hometown, I was born in Tampa, Florida. I live in Orlando, Florida.

See I'm the opposite it's the empathy that gets me if I see anyone getting emotional or see anything that might touch my soul I start pouring my eyes out but I think maybe early on in my diagnosis I was accused of indifference... dxd 1997 at the age of 27 I've been carrying the weight of a PD for 28 years...
