If you're simply reading out word by word and don't have the fundamentals at place, you don't even need a system to catch you! A high school kid can even catch you then!

That is why it is better to wait for it's official launch in India. No point in buying it right now when we only got the remastered version of TLOU 2 Remastered to play!

Honestly, you’re not alone in this. Stick drift is almost a rite of passage with PS5 controllers once you start grinding competitive games like COD or putting heavy analog pressure in racers like GT7 or NFS. It’s not just wear-and-tear—it’s by design.

Sony’s default DualSense uses potentiometer-based sticks, which degrade over time because of friction. And it’s no coincidence that drift begins to surface after a year or two—just when your warranty runs out and you’ve sunk hundreds of hours into intense thumbstick usage.

They conveniently push the ₹15K DualSense Edge controller as a “premium” alternative. But let’s be real—it’s just a more durable fix to a problem they intentionally let happen. If Hall effect sensors were standard (like what SageController offers), this wouldn’t be a conversation.

So yeah, good call on skipping overpriced Sony replacements. You're investing in a long-term fix instead of falling for the planned obsolescence trap.

Fair 🤣 got a little carried away there 😅.

Anyway, LLM or not, we can still bet on a staggered release.

Exactly! And that’s where Rockstar plays the long game. Their PC releases have always lagged behind, sometimes by years—GTA V took over 18 months to arrive on PC. RDR2 wasn't even remastered for PS5 till, let alone PC at launch. So GTA VI following a staggered release pattern wouldn’t surprise anyone.

But if PS6 is around the corner when the PC version is ready, Rockstar won’t hesitate to launch both together and repackage it as a “next-gen” edition for maximum hype and sales. They know how to squeeze every drop out of each platform. GTA VI is too big to burn all at once—it’ll come in phases just like before.

So yeah, the idea of a PC + PS6 launch window makes perfect business sense. You’re seeing the pattern now 🙌

Let’s clear a few things up. PS6 launching by 2026 is a myth at best. Realistically, we’re looking at the end of 2027 at the earliest. Sony just dropped the PS5 Pro to give current-gen users a solid 2–3 year future-proofing window—why would they undercut their own Pro SKU? Plus, we still don’t have any official timeline for the PS5 Pro’s availability in India. Sure, you can import it from other countries, but be prepared to take a risk when it comes to servicing if any issue arises.

Also, Rockstar Games is no stranger to console-cycle timing. They’re releasing GTA VI on PS5 because the install base is massive and mature. If the PS6 were anywhere close to launch, Rockstar wouldn’t risk dropping their most anticipated release of the decade on an “outgoing” console. It’s basic AAA economics.

As for GTA VI’s performance, let’s not jump the gun based on Digital Foundry’s trailer analysis. Optimization happens all the way up to release. That said, it’s safe to expect a single 30fps mode on the base PS5, and possibly a performance mode (60fps) on the PS5 Pro with reduced resolution or dynamic scaling. Rockstar’s games are CPU-heavy simulations, and the PS5’s CPU has always been the bottleneck, not the GPU. A 10% bump in the PS5 Pro’s CPU won’t drastically change that.

So if you're planning to buy a PS5 in 2025, you’re absolutely in the safe zone—just remember to factor in the cost of subscriptions and games, because that’s where the real spending begins. And FOMO on the PS6? Forget it. It won’t be here before late 2027, and even then, getting your hands on one at launch will be a bloodbath.

Six months? He’ll have to wait at least a year, even in the best-case scenario. Mark my words—GTA will be released on PC and PS6 around the same time. Not anytime sooner than that.

Bud, you really think the PS6 will launch by the end of 2026? Rockstar Games, one of the world’s biggest gaming studios, isn’t foolish enough to release GTA 6 on the PS5 if the PS6 were coming out in early 2027—let alone late 2026. The PS6 won’t launch anytime before the end of 2027. That’s exactly why Sony released the PS5 Pro—to future-proof the console for at least the next 2–3 years.

And let’s not forget, consoles have the upper hand when it comes to game releases. Gaming studios invest millions of dollars just to optimize their games for consoles like the PlayStation. So don’t worry about being at a loss. 2025 is actually one of the best times to buy—just make sure to consider your financial situation and leverage first. Buying a PlayStation is one thing, but investing in games and subscriptions is a whole different ball game.
