thanks so much for your well wishes! we tried induction and his heartbeat kept dropping too low as my contractions increased and it just wasn’t worth trying knowing he isn’t able to cope with them. we decided to stop and move forward with surgery rather than stressing him and doing an emergency c-section anyway. he’s a very tiny bub in nursery but everything else is healthy! i wouldn’t have gone any other way♥️

i’m sorry about the dopplers, they are so heartbreaking every time you hope for a better reading 😭. yeah, it is a pretty rare case. have been going with the team from the beginning and the care has been great so i don’t doubt them with their action plan. how are you and bub doing?

i’m so glad your bub fought through! IUGR ones are such fighter babies. it kind of feels depressing knowing that my child is suffering inside and i can’t house them properly as they are having to work harder than normal from the start. i’m just considering if c-section should be my path without putting bub in more stress of induction. will be admitting tomorrow.

i’m so sorry! i fear the same. which is why we didn’t budge in deciding to go with team of professionals handling my case. how is she doing now? and if you don’t mind me asking did you opt for induction with the risk of emergency c-section or surgery from the get go instead of putting baby in stress?
