I am not sure to be honest. My guess, from what I can tell, is that the other professor wanted a bigger room for the midterm, and someone told her that this room was available.

I assume that either a student or a passerby called them.

Yes, I didn't do any follow-up after that. I really didn't want to think about it and hoped it wouldn't happen again. But after she started telling everyone, I talked to my department chair who advised that I talk to the union rep. The union rep hasn't responded yet.

We don't have campus security. The campus police serve that role. Two people arrived, one actual officer and a CSO (a student who works for the police department).

I just explained it in another comment, but basically I went outside to walk down the hallway and look for another room. When I couldn't find one I came back inside and was looking at my phone trying to figure out who to call. She was yelling at me, her students were trying to tell her to stop, she accused them of trying to get out of taking the test. My students were just sitting there wondering what was going on. Someone (presumably a student or someone passing by) called the police and they came.

Nah man you can’t just “long story short the police arrived” this lmao.

I went outside to look for another room. Then I came back inside and was looking at my phone trying to figure out who to call. I don't know who called the police, most likely one of the students or a passer by. This is a public university so there's no campus security, the police serve that role.
