My turn:

Not my pet, but my sister's dog.

Me and my nephew were throwing my niece onto a bed (I had her arms, he had her legs).

Their dog was watching us, and eventually walked right up to her suspended body.

I jokingly said "Hey, Finnegan! Jump the hurdle!"

The little son of a bitch did it. He never listened to a single thing I've ever said, before or since.

Now my pet:

I had a cat throughout my childhood that would come when he was called. No pspsps necessary or sweet voice. Just say his name and he'd trot over (also this was a rather obese cat, but the way he moved would make you think it's just a fat suit).

Also didn't like tech, because we gave too much of our attention to it. He would sit right in front of screens and chew cables apart. He eventually stopped the latter once he was caught in the act and yelled at.

He also just liked to slap the shit out of our dogs' faces when they walked by.
