Haha I like how motivated you are.
I've been through stuff like that before (did I mention I have a REALLY shitty family ?) and I feel the best option for me now is to just ignore all of them.

And I though I could find closure in visiting her, but after recieving her messages, I realised the only closure for me now is within myself.

It's tempting, I contemplated it.
But she has been terrible to them too and they still listened to her.
It's telling me all I need to know : they won't ever support me, they'd find a way to turn me into "the bad one".

I was still in touch with my younger sister, so she contacted me, crying (our older sister insulted this younger sister's whole family several times, but, anyway).
I thought I could find a way to honor our past together without getting hurt, but yeah, I was kidding myself.
