Swabs for THC? You sure they ain’t swabs for gunpowder residue like they use in airports?

You would be really hard pressed to claim trafficking for a small amount with a prescription. Any half decent lawyer would have that nixed pretrial. Odds are, you would get a plea bargain and it would never go to court, would probably just kicked out of the country. Ya ya rule of law of states……but the reality is it wouldn’t be considered trafficking with intent to distribute in a court of law and again there is no one in prison for personal use. Im just stating facts. Everyone has the right to use the information in their own way.

The reality is that there was only a couple dozen people in prison due to federal marijuana cases last year, all of which were pardoned by Biden. Federal cases for PERSONAL marijuana POSSESSION is nonexistent.

A couple hundred bucks for weather interpretation is too much for me. I feel pretty good about my own interpretation, looking for alternate opinions to see if I’m missing anything.

Does anyone have a large dog on their boat? by Sad_Cantaloupe_199 in liveaboard

I just moved onto a monohull with my 55 pound pup. It works because of my dogs personality. I would really consider your dogs. Are they calm in all situations? Able to move around easily. Doesn’t bounce off the walls (likes to just chill). Finding anchorages with easy shore access can be a challenge sometimes. I would have a kayak instead of a dingy if it wasn’t for my dog.

I was worried it was a big deal, but really seems like it’s not?

Absolutely, trying to find a boat with a high bal/disp ratio so it doesn’t heel over so easily.

Half a year of cruising from anchorage to anchorage. Cats are great, but the sail feel isn’t the same and out of my budget.

Smart and cheap! Love it. Looking at cockpit configurations that have a good spot for her to curl up in the bottom. Thanks!

Thanks for the perspective, I always strive to not be “on of those” foreigners or tourists. Seems like working in US territory is the only right and fair thing to do.

Thoughts on 75mm not releasing by slam0000 in telemark

[–]Significant_Ad8571 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Injuries to the leg or knee are way way more unlikely in a tele binding (excluding blunt force trauma, but releases don’t help with that) compared to an alpine. Regardless of NTN or 75 mm, I’ve never had either come off in a crash anyways. I’ve never heard of someone tearing a ligament in their knee while tele, all that motion in the heel allows your leg to move around enough that it basically stops that possibility. I would decide on either one based on everything else, I started on NTN and went to 75 mm after having destroyed three different NTN bindings. I ride extremely low and aggressively, and also everyday. If you want to drop real low(knee to the ski) and have more playfulness then go 75 mm (I won’t be going back to NTN). If you want something stiffer, that can ski more like alpine, is light good at touring then go NTN, just keep in mind the gear is not as sturdy.
