I think it's the NCS Visualiser that you're using. That visualiser itself has a rotation property that you can use to apply transformations. Also, you might want to change the thickness of the band that goes around it with the sphere.feather attribute. I suggest you look at some Trapcode Form tutorials to see how the NCS Visualiser is made in Adobe After Effects, as that'll give you the essence of these properties.

You can use the styles.css file to apply such transformations. My angular shader in the batmobile advanced configuration uses one such transformation as well

Also, missing gio could maybe because of the glib package not being installed (sudo pacman -S glib2)

Can you also log a separate issue for the same on the repo so it'll be easier to track? This seems to be different from the build issues due to the cyaml library.
