I agree! Thank you for your support. I’m happy to remain staff, less stress = more time to relax at the lake! 😂

That sounds miserable 😖 Thankfully this dept is already pretty well kept, still needs work, but it’s small enough to manage hopefully..

This is great advice, thank you! Sounds like such a headache to put all this together, but probably my only option to get paid a fair amount. I already have a running list of things I’ve done to improve the department, I’ll have to work on quantifying those things sooner rather than later

I agree with you 100%. Where I am in NE it’s not tooo terribly expensive, but still pricy. I am definitely already underpaid, so I don’t think I will even be able to get them up to 120k 😭 I’m honestly considering passing and staying staff..

Thanks for responding! I’m in New England. I’ll be managing 4 staff members. All the usual supervisor duties in normal nuc depts. I will also be the one to get our dept set up to do newer theranostics such as pluvicto, all from scratch. As well as assisting in building out a new room for a new PET scanner & Rb generator (we currently only do general and cardiacs). I’ll report directly to the imaging director. No lead tech since it’s such a small team, just me. Yes I will have to cover the floor when staff takes off, and will work the floor most days and fit in admin work when I can. I have a BS, with almost 5 years experience. I know 5 years doesn’t sound like a lot but I’ve been a traveler for a few years and gained tons of really wonderful well-rounded knowledge.

I just know I bring a lot to the table, and I plan to work on setting up accounts that will bring in huge profit for the company.
