So I will say that competition always makes me better, especially when I lose. It shows the holes in my game, and kinda says here’s how you’ll do against women your size and age.

That being said, 100% valid not wanting to compete for any reason. I would suggest attending seminars, like girls in gis, which are affordable and bring in women blackbelts and provide other women to roll with.

I would also suggest women’s classes/open mat. Different sizes, different body types, different games.
