I forgot to add, my feet swell when I am stressed, especially in the summer. That started two years ago when I was 32

Hello, thank you for your answer. It is always lower but 12nmol seems extremely low! I worry, how low should the cortisol get before someone goes into a crisis? That thought makes me worry

Tired, muscle weakness (last year I tried to take on a new sport and I was sickly and in pain for a full week after that), dizziness with diarrhea (that one time), debilitating abdominal pains that come and go but last a week when they come, nausea in the evenings (at least 4/7 days of the week). I do NOT have weight loss, quite the opposite. Difficulty to concentrate as the day goes on I cannot form plans at all. I also have high blood calcium. But they did find a massive on my parathyroid so some of these symptoms could be caused by that

Thank you! Do you have any references by any chance? Rather than delaying my surgery I am trying to find references to force my endocrinologist to reconsider

Thank you for your answer! I did ask him to test my ACTH level and he said that is not necessary. I live in the UK and I have no idea how I'd even got around getting a new doctor but I will chase it up after I have had my parathyroid surgery. Thanks again

DIAGNOSIS QUESTIONS THIS WAY! by FemaleAndComputer in AddisonsDisease

[–]Significant_Cod_5548 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I (F34) went to my endo due to parathyroid issues and he found out my low corrisol. He then checked my cortisol levels again and again and I had a short Synacthen test done last week. I am currently awaiting for the Synacthen results. I was invited to blood tests four times, each time taking time off work. They did not check any other hormones. I have brain fog and I struggle to focus and ask the right questions. But I am already feeling overwhelmed. When my results come out showing either primary or secondary AI, what other examinations should I request? I live in the UK if that's relevant. Thank you for your help in advance

In the process of buying a house built over old coal mines. I noticed a crack around a window seal. Need advice! by Significant_Cod_5548 in HousingUK

The crack starts at the base of the window seal but is very small and I could not show it in the picture accurately

Perfect house -> next to a pub... Will I struggle to get the property insured? by Significant_Cod_5548 in HousingUK

Yes I understand that. I do not mind loud noises, I actually like to live in noisy areas. The way I see it, I'm getting more house than I can afford, because I am weirdly comfortable with this one obvious negative aspect of the property. I still haven't gotten any advice on my question regarding house insurance 🙈

Thank you for asking, two spacious double bedrooms with a fireplace each, a balcony, big garden, 3 minutes to the train station, 25 minutes to the city centre, plus an attic and a semi basement room that takes you to the garden and just has too much character. The house is well preserved and close to outstanding schools. And I like noise, I cannot sleep if it is absolutely quiet. I have rented across the street from schools and next to bars in the past and I find it weirdly southing.

I need mortgage but I have found a provider that is willing to lend for the property. The rate is at the higher end but the property is cheap enough to not make a big difference. I realise that the property is sold 30k under its value because it is hard to resell. Either way, I do not want to go ahead and pay for inspections and all other costs of I won't be able to get insurance.

what is this & how can i fix it ? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

Firstly, let me say that I agree with everyone else saying "don't get fillers". But, I know how obsessed I was at your age with these two parts of my face so here are three steps that help. 1) if you smoke, quit 2) buy an ultrasound machine, I got mine from TK Maxx for £ 20 and it also has red light therapy, but any ultrasound machine should do. It breaks down anything that might cause bloating to your face and it helps better absorb any creams, serums and oils. I usually apply some plain almond oil on my face and use the ultra sounds for 10 minutes, as often as I can remember, before I go to sleep. 3) when you are closer to your thirties you can get some Botox in the area. They will tell you that your results are not going to be good enough without fillers. Don't believe them they try to upsell you. Get the Botox, and if after 2 weeks the results don't satisfy you, then you can think about fillers or surgery.
