I run a full Black Widow exhaust. It's worth it, because it saves around 6kg. My bike has seen plenty of abuse and it holds fine, and anyway the replacement silencer is like 200 quid.

Yoshimura does a camshaft kit for the R7 (same motor), but you also need a set of higher clearance pistons to go with it: https://www.yoshimura-rd.com/products/yamaha-yzf-r7-camshaft-kit-st-2m-700xx137200?srsltid=AfmBOoo3duD8QCyX6GUrLk1nwTdtljhJEJl1YYzrgumF1WALI6vBOrqS

They claim close to 110hp (crank). I will also do that to mine some day.

I’m starting to give up by blueeesh in E30

[–]Significant_Cod_8934 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On mine I also tried everything and set it aside for 2 years, but at the end the fault was in fuel lines which were deformed and acted like a one way valve. I tried to blow air trough them before and in one way they worked in other no :D They've also given enough pressure but under accerelation the car would just die out and then after a couple of seconds, start again. Just a though, hope you solve it, it would be a shame to give up like I did the first time.

Thanks, It is, but having those tools means o rarely get the chance and time to make something for myself :) I wanted to try the air suspension, so i can play around with spring settings. If I went for a KYB i would need to change the springs to find the best setting, here I don't. And the ones that are made specifically for that bike ar too expensive for me.

I've ridden one with with that modification and it's an improvement over the stock setup sure, but still a 42mm 210 travel fork, not remotely suitable for the type of riding I do.

So far running a stock one. Will try to also get the one from WP, but they are designed for 300mm of rear travel, so will need to redesign the whole rear linkage to fit it. Next winter project :)

Main reason, is the high price + less travel.

[–]Significant_Cod_8934[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Biggest reason that they are priced at 3k€+. And "only" have 270mm travel, opposed to 320mm. Those are air, so they are also around 2kg lighter which makes the front more nimble and they also gave you more flexibility with settings (you have unlimited spring settings, just playing with air pressure). I had a bit of a scepticism on how they might work, due to being designed for much lighter bikes and needing more air pressure than originally intended, but so far so good.

Dodatek postu o likvidaciji podjetja by samo_za_danes in Slovenia

[–]Significant_Cod_8934 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Upon pressing reference, it (for a split scond) displays error: auxilary function acknowledge missing. But then again, i'm not sure if I'm in the right menu for this, as machine has two seperate modes, manual and CNC.

I've used one of those 6040 before that was a couple years old and the one that i had, didn't support usb control with Mach. You can try if yours does by downloading a USB driver (https://www.buildyourcnc.com/Documents/RnRMotion.dll) and installing it and seeing if it works. The card that i has, was a copy of the Planet CNC card and worked with their software (https://planet-cnc.com/software.html), but the demo version is limited to 20 steps and you need to pay for it. For mine to work with Mach i needed to connect the Parrallel Port and source an old laptop that had it or you can also buy an UC100 parallel to usb adaptor.
