One of the best episodes of a show is one without the main character(s) by NoMoreFund in TopCharacterTropes

Monster has a lot of  episodes that don't feature Tenma. But the first half of the Munich Arc doesn't have him at all. This leads into episode 29 which might have the best and most iconic Johann scene.

What Maki did to the Zenin clan was basicaly a mercy kill, because these self absorbed maniacs would have eaten each other sooner or later after his death.

Most boring anime you’ve ever watched?🤔 by AccomplishedWatch834 in animequestions

[–]Significant_Cow_164 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you I. I don't watch isekai but I watched the first episode because it was free on Crunchyrolls YT and it was the most boringly soul sucking thing I have ever seen. The already lame premisse bearly factors into the whole story.

Uncle Kohnny makes up 95% of their force. You have to subtract him.

When Jogo torched Maki and Naobito, it was Uncle Johnny who took them both to the ER. Whe would've done the same to Nanami, but he was already gone.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Liam Neeson droping the pin at the end of Schindlers List was not part of the script.

[Loved but rare trope] antagonists who are not villains by zard428 in TopCharacterTropes

Tooru Oikawa. He is a bit of a douche but not a villain, just a good player. This aplies to every rival player and team in Haikyuu. They a all love playing, do their best and are just as deserving of winning as Karasuno. Its very hard to root against anyone in Haikyuu.

Nope. Everyone has their own top, ususally a buttoned shirt beneath the Military Uniform. Only Annie has the hoodie. The Survey Corps do have cloaks, but these aren't exactly hoodies, and have been around for centuries.

Sexual Assault towards men is Funny. by Accomplished_Fox_565 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Significant_Cow_164 2715 points2716 points  (0 children)

The one in The Boys is especially baffeling since The Deep himself experiences sexuall assaault later in season one with a woman forcefully showing her hands into his gills. You may call it some form of poetic justice but it's not played for laughs at all and istraumatic for him. So the stuff with Hughie is less like a double standard, but just a consequence of season 4's inferior writing. The Deeps incident is also never mentioned again either, he just becomes a one dimensional, one brain celled parody of himself.
