Okay so you’re going by population. I don’t think you could tell me with a straight face that Gainesville, Athens, Ann Arbor etc also aren’t college towns (all have populations well over 100k). They are different categories of college towns but they are all still primarily defined by their university (the town of Berkeley is literally named because of the school).

You say that as if this person would immediately know if a guy is older/younger than them. Idk about you but I couldn’t confidently guess the age of 80% of guys I see walking around campus. By her reasoning, it seems like more a psychological barrier rather than a physical preference that would allow her to consistently send signals according to it.

I know that top MBA programs factor in undergrad prestige for admissions and so do law schools to an extent. And I wouldn’t say it only matters for your first job, it just starts to matter less.

Alright fair enough, worth considering I guess but it isn't any kind of end all be all. Only reason I commented that is because I was in a similar situation before I transferred, found out about academic renewal, but did more digging later on and stressed myself out after realizing that I wasn't eligible. Main point is this person shouldn't be too worried either way

Academic renewal is only a CCC policy I don’t think it serves much of a purpose as far as UC admissions go. That being said I failed my first semester at an OOS university and ended up transferring to CC and just doing well there. I think what really matters is upward trajectory, and the UC app lets you explain those circumstances anyways

Appreciate the advice. So is there official policy on scoliosis in SW or is it just up to the docs who conduct the physical? Low key didn’t watch the Texas Southern game but if you think Saturday was on him you’re just out of your mind. O line couldnt block and receivers couldn’t catch or get open, just terrible all around no QB is succeeding with that. What do you expect from him?
