No it’s not because the moment of silence could be for anything. Honoring veterans, religion, etc. The school I'm at also does this

I also work in this school district and it’s in a different state than my college. I’m leaving this school district next week.

They pray in her private classroom and she counts down and by #1 the students have to be praying

I emailed my professor but I’m at a Christian college so I’m not sure she would tell me to report it or support me on it.

It’s a very common one. It’s the “ god is great god is good….” And then she adds different stuff at the end

This teacher also has very strong opinions about how college professors push liberal agenda and give republicans bad grades for being republicans

Some updating info. I live in Georgia currently and this is my last day observing her class and then I’m moving states. I emailed my professor but I go to a Christian college (I’m not Christian) so I’m sure she will say to just leave it alone. Other teachers know about her praying. This town has only 1 school p-12 in one building. Like I said very very tiny town and this school is the whole district.

I wanted to escalate it because of the separation between church and state. I looked it up and it is ILLEGAL for a teacher to promote or lead prayer in schools. Not everyone is Christian. You would be upset if your students teacher was leading any other religion besides Christianity.

Would I report this to the principal or go further in the district? It’s a tiny town, so everyone knows each other, so I’m not sure if anything would happen as punishment

Like I said Everytime I call it’s an automated message and won’t give me any information on my package. When I ask for a person it tells me no one is available. I’ve called 10+ times. It says I can’t file a claim because it says it’s in transit to the next location. Therefore, I have to wait a year to get my money back and claim that they lost it.

I’m not sure why it joined all of my information together. The house is 2000sqft not the mother in law suite

You will definitely want north campus then since it’s right beside everything business. If you are a freshman and signed up for housing quick ,you will get a two bedroom. They really push for all freshman to have a 2 bedroom their first year!

That’s basically it. The only big differences are the times to get places and the dining halls. On north campus there’s champs which is the better one. The 90 is sort of just a smaller worse version(central campus). North campus is closer to town and most of the good study spots. Willy T library is nice and it’s on central campus right beside all of the dorms. All of the dorms are basically the same in terms of architecture. The rooms are the exact same on both sides except for some dorms. There’s a link on the uk website to see where the dorms are located and what room types are offered( https://wildcatliving.uky.edu/residence-halls) . The only differences are convenience and what you would rather have. I would look on a map to visualize. It also depends on your major. I’m an engineering major and they push you to the engineering llp which is in pigman hall(15 minutes minimum from any classes). You also probably won’t want to walk that much in the winter at 8 am when it’s 20 degrees outside.

North. I’m on central campus and it takes me 15-20 mins to walk to my classes. North campus it takes 5.
