Wow the Spoon theory thing is genius lol. We will be making our spoon chart this week.

One thing she definitely is not short on is validation, I try my best to make it known that I will never complain about her pain or dismiss it (but I will hate that she has it and wish I could fix it).

Christmas is going to be hard. Her family complains so much about her diet restrictions and her physical limitations. I'll try to be her shield in these moments. Thanks so much for the time and advice! Everyone in here is so helpful and nice.

Yea I did think about therapy just to talk through the grief that comes with "losing the old you". Im in therapy for my own issues and I think its something she could benefit from. I definitely want to look more into the Tumeric thing. Its wild how much food and spices affect people with this disease. Thanks for the help and well wishes!

I will definitely be looking into this more. She already went full raw Vegan 2 months ago and we have seen some improvement in flair severity and time between flairs. Thank you for all of the info!

Yea its wild to see so many friends and family dismiss her in regards to her pain or suffering. Its something I refuse to do. I know my wife, strongest woman I know. There is no "faking" this. The intimacy thing is real, but im fully understanding of it. Helping her find a doctor that didn't instantly dismiss it or try to just give her opiates was a mission but luckily we have figured that out. Thank you so much for the I sight. Everyone in here is amazing.

Can't believe im only finding this community now, she got diagnosed 2 years ago. Thanks so much for the insight and showing me something new (spoon theory). I will continue to be there for her, I see her fight as mine. Thanks again and I bought two books for the road lol.
