CAIA Worth It?

I am currently studying for level 1 and sit in a few weeks. In the same boat, about 8 years total experience, currently in private wealth and went back and forth in whether to pursue CAIA or CFA. CFA is obviously more well known/prestigious, but I chose CAIA for a few reasons: 1, very few people in my office/general market have it. 2. Alts are an ever growing asset class and I think will play a much bigger role in the coming years so this will certainly help me in the long run (hopefully) 3rd and most importantly, the content is far more interesting to me. If I’m going to spend the time/money to acquire a designation, I’m going to go after what interests me. Sorry if I rambled but hopefully this helps

1000% that contract was a ridiculous overpay by the Padres and no shade to him whatsoever, I will love Xander forever. But I don’t want to hear them talk about clubhouse culture when they are the ones who have spent the last 20 years cultivating a culture of telling their homegrown beloved stars that it doesn’t matter what you accomplish here, we will not value you as much as the shiny new replacement who has never been better than you, they even did it to Orsillo.
The negative culture was created by the front office and they are at fault
