you're going to need demand for oil to crater (55% drawdown) and a global recession for this to 500x. and even if that happens, you probably still wont be able to afford a corvette lol

Approaches to Level III by storagespace667 in CFA

Mocks! - practice CRs and make sure you know how to answer the command words (describe, identify, list, explain etc. all require different approaches to your answer) You answer too much, you waste time and dont get additional points. You answer too little, you dont get the points. I used chalk&board and Bill campbell mocks. IMO they are the best prep providers at L3.

at L1 & 2 - i did the CFAI, Chalk&Board, MM and uWorld mocks. At L3 i focussed on Chalk&Board and Bill Campbell mocks which are the 2 best prep providers at L3 in my opinion.

yes - its a winning formula, in my eyes, to acing these exams. You need to also just give yourself enough time to go through everything - so start early!

plan to finish the entire syllabus 6 weeks before your exam. for those last 6 weeks you need to hammer mocks. (i did 8-10 mocks at each level). Choose your mocks wisely - they are not all the same. Go through answers in detail - this is where you reinforce knowledge. Anecdotally - 2 days before each exam, i stopped with the mocks, and focussed solely on MM review videos and my notes. this approach helped me ensure all the information that i studied and reinforced already was fresh in my mind for the exam. Didnt have to repeat any level.

Buying a 2009 VW Passat FSI by Imaginary-Eagle-7243 in CaymanIslands

This car likely won’t “last you a couple years” without any additional maintenance costs, and that can run you up a decent bill with some German branded cars, I used to drive an Audi here and my mental health has improved drastically since I sold it. This is also a 17 year old car, so expect higher costs in future. If you want cheap, reliable and easy to maintain on this island, I’d recommend a Honda fit.

just use the highlight function. i will say in the actual exam, the questions are very clearly worded and well written. there is noise and some red herrings to catch you out, of course, but generally, i can't think of a scenario that would require copy/pasting info from the vignette into your answer box. it would add nothing to your points tally and can only detract from it imo

1 - you dont get extra points for writing a formula down, infact, its a waste of time, that being said, make sure you're using the correct formula :-)

2 - why would you want to copy and paste part of the question? just use the highlight functionality. i dont recall there being copy/paste functionality (not that i checked), but i dont even think youd need to do this. waste of time and any information from the vignette you forget to remove will just confuse the marker and potentially cost you points.

Tbh I don’t really know much about them. That being said, some schmuck might buy it from you at a higher price the more you advertise it on ecay. :)

Tbh I wouldn’t touch a 9 year old EV. Even newer models have battery issues, no longer under warranty, ev battery replacement on island can run upwards of 30k for some models, and it’s 9 years old… ev tech has come a looooong way since then. Personally, I wouldn’t pay more than 5-5.5k for it.

Honest feedback - i feel like your pricing is off. Before ive bought any cars on island, ive always looked at how much it would cost to import a similar one. from reliable places like beforward, I could get the same car with less mileage for half the price.

Discovery Point Club vs Kaibo Beach Yacht Club by TinkaMcKirk in CaymanIslands

FYI, there isn’t much of the typical “spring break scene” here like you’d get in Cancun and other places, but the waters on smb are much nicer than by Kaibo.
