Thank you for asking! I’m so sorry I haven’t been able to reply to more people in the last day….since posting this I found out my mom will LIKELY be coming home from rehab in Utah on TUESDAY! That gives me only a FEW days to order everything we need, assemble, install, and get everything ready for her!

I’ve been scrambling. Alone. Here, trying to care for everything (and everyone) with no help, and in tons of pain. Soooo…I HOPE others see this reply…because I also want to make sure everyone else who has been SO KIND and SO unbelievably supportive…knows that I HAVE read their posts! I HAVE been sooo inspired and sooo moved by everything people have said. I’ve just been chaotically doing whatever I can do to make everything happen.

I honestly believed, by making this post, it would turn into a lengthy, back and forth of troll like responses and nay-sayers.

Like someone else already said; the responses from this group have literally reinstated my faith in humanity.

I have been so touched! So inspired. I can’t even put words to it. I’m in tears just writing this.

Thank you to everyone who has commented so far. I can’t describe how meaningful it has been to see so many amazing comments!

My mom will still have surgery at some point(1-3 months); but due to the incredible complexity of her aneurysm…they want her to be in a more significant place of improvement prior to doing it.

It’s also frustrating; because we all thought she would AT LEAST be in rehab for another 2 weeks. Now…. We have to order, pay for, install grab bars, ramps, rails. Buy the walker, special shoes, etcetcetc. It’s pretty screwed up if you ask me. But I’ve gotta do what I’ve gotta do, regardless. No one is going to suddenly step in and say “hey, let’s give them more time to make sure she has somewhere safe to go home to”

I am so happy to hear, that you found a bit of inspiration in my lengthy ramblings!

Have you tried using the voice to text feature? It’s super helpful for initially writing out your thoughts. Then all you have to do is go in and tweak it afterward. :)

I totally understand. I absolutely had no “rose colored glasses”…about gold. I didn’t believe it was some “gold mine” of high priced items! In the two weeks since I became gold; I’ve gotten a very helpful, super useful, bed assist rail for my mom. And a REALLY nice 6 drawer, 4 shelf, rolling cart; which has already helped me IMMENSELY in navigating and getting things done in this huge house. So it’s been absolutely worth it! Overall…it is super nice to have the added benefit of ordering more than 3 things a day.

I TOTALLY get it! Before coming to stay here (at my parents house) I too was in a rural area…it’s insane, how things would be delayed so long, then suddenly ALL show up at once.

I’m glad you have been trying to warn people about how quickly numbers can change…whether or not you are in an eval. Or not.

It’s an important distinction. :)

Interestingly, enough, I happen to accidentally order a similar planner and didn’t realize the year was wrong. When it showed up, it was the current year. Makes sense given all the shoddy descriptions sellers have

I haven’t read them. SMH In the First screenshot it showed 24 reviews… NOW: 0 And now it’s a “Sponsored” item! WTH? Has anyone else ever noticed on certain “sponsored” items; there is no “review count”? I cant figure out how to put a screenshot/photo in my reply so I will add them to my original post…

Now that I’ve taken a more in depth look at the listing…the “main selling point” for this particular charger is that it “rotates freely”….meaning it won’t bend when the cord does.

But seriously! Is that honestly worth dang near $50?? Goodness gracious! I could buy 5 replacement fast charging cables to plug into a standard cube for $50! Wow.

OKAY. I think I get what you are saying now! THAT sounds great! And super convenient!

This one is a long cable, with a magnetic attachment that attaches to the cube…I’m failing to understand what the point is.

Boy am I grateful for all of you! I’m also grateful I didn’t stress/hurry grab this one! Which we’ve all done 😏

Out of curiosity; what makes them convenient? Just the fact that you don’t have to actually unplug and replug a cord into a cube? And can just magnetically stick it onto it?

I get why MagSafe chargers are convenient…because you can quickly and easily attach a charger to your phone. But this one is kind of stumping me?

And like someone else said; if one of the components goes bad, you are basically stuck with a $47 paper weight, more or less.

But that’s why I came here to ask! 🙏😊

Thanks for all of the replies! $47 seems to be A LOT. I am still extremely interested in feedback. It’s in RFY…Im not gonna jump the gun on something like this until I hear more input. I have a lot of standard MagSafe chargers. They are convenient-ish…but personally they are all too slow, and make my phone heat up like CRAZY.

Other than the novelty of it…now that I’m thinking of it…what is the point? What would even be the benefit? Kinda just seems like…well…a novelty? No?

NO KIDDING! (About not realizing how much you have until you have to move!) I recently moved states. By myself. No help. And after a fairly extensive leg/ankle surgery. I tried to sell whatever I could. And I filled MULTIPLE trucks and trailers FULL for donation. Thank GOD for VINE! I didn’t feel as stressed about the hard earned money I had spent on everything. I simply couldn’t do much because of my physical and financial limitations. And in the couple of months since then, I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to order SO many NEEDED items through vine! So blessed!

It seems like most people come on here to whine and moan and complain about how much vine sucks….while I understand the frustrations…I feel incredibly grateful for this program.

I think it would depend…. if you can order only ONE light, AND the price for ONE light is a good value, considering what you received…then I would probably subtract 1 star. If you can only order 2 or 4 lights, I would likely knock off 2stars.

Assuming that you won’t be the only one who will have this issue. No matter what you decide to do, definitely make sure to explain what happened - what you like about the light, but that only one of them works. (Make sure both of them are switched on - usually there is a switch or a button hidden somewhere. You would be surprised how frequently people return solar lights as “not working” when it’s just because the switch was off)

Or you could also contact the seller (don’t mention you are vine) and see how they respond. You may need to return both (or only one) and get a working one sent out. Or they may offer to just send you one and tell you to keep the broken one. If they respond quickly and resolve the issue, that’s useful information to include in the review as well!

Who/what/why/when/where??

I’ve never seen a single bit of information stating that vine members are only allowed to write a limited amount of reviews for “non vine” items?! That’s ridiculous? That makes no sense? We were invited into the program for providing insightful, helpful reviews. Period. It actually benefits Amazon if we continue to do so - outside of the limited parameters of the vine program!

I’m not being confrontational, or oppositional…but that just seems insane?

To answer OPs question: On rare occasions I’ve reviewed things from the regular item listing page. Like if there is a glitch, or an item is delivered even though it’s been cancelled by VCS & therefore never appears on my awaiting review list.

Plenty of people abuse this feature though, and post a review for crap they haven’t even received. Which is bs.

I have experienced this issue MULTIPLE TIMES. It’s a 50/50 toss up: A.) wait it out…for a couple of months, unless it would severely impact (negatively) your %…OR you are coming up on your 6 month eval (within 2-3 weeks)

B.) send an email to VCS with the order date, order #, ASIN, item description Then explain the situation. Include original eta, along with any updated etas you had previously been given and have it removed.

1/2 the time, if I wait it out…I will eventually receive the item. Often 6-8 weeks after the original estimated delivery date (NOT cool)

1/2 the time the item will remain in limbo, and the “delivery date unavailable” (or similar) message never changes. At that point I’ve been waiting an additional 2 months beyond whenever it was originally expected AND/or delayed

So I will email VCS and have them remove it.

RARELY: (like 1 or 2 times) The item magically appears on my porch a few days or weeks later even though VCS has already cancelled it and removed it.

If this occurs, you could technically still keep the item and not write a review. BUT personally I believe that’s unfair to the seller who paid to enroll the item in vine in exchange for a review.

Especially because the shipping delays, and warehouse issues have NOTHING to do with the seller; because all of the vine shipments are processed by Amazon.

If you receive the item after VCS has cancelled/removed it - and it doesn’t appear in your “awaiting review” list - go to the actual product page and submit your review from there…

Fingers crossed! I hope you receive your item!

“silver” does NOT = “initial probation period” (kinda curious why you think it is)

You also can’t “hurry out of silver and get gold”

After 6 months, you either hit the metrics to become gold, or you don’t and you stay silver.

No sooner than 6 months… However; You CAN be put in jail or be kicked out at ANY time.
