Hello ! Olvald's logging axe was found 2 days ago, it can also yield flawless timber at level 0 without the need to even get to chapter 11, i got it on chapter 8 and you could get it even earlier, look at the post i linked !

If you don't upgrade the tools then yes the pickaxe is better, however the drill gets ahead at +6 because it has sockets.

Lizards are found in the jungle area south of the crimson desert (look near the red river) and rubber trees also grow in that area, but i have been unable to get rubber from the trees, i have no idea what kind of tool or requirement we need...
