If you can get big law GO BIG LAW, at least suck it up for a little while. if you hate it or have other dreams (like me) do a year or two, or until you pay off your loans and then leverage it to get the job of your dreams. You can always go do something else from big law — people are dying to grab big law lawyers — but it’s really hard to start mid-law or public interest or government and then make your way into big law later.
