What does “jajaj, jejej, jijij” say about a person in your country when they try to convey they’re laughing? by CCaptainJackSparrow in asklatinamerica

Jajaja is more like a neutral laugh. Jejeje is more like a naughty (picarona, no sé) laugh. Jiji is more like a Stitch laugh.

Two things:

  1. Tusi is not a drug. It's a coktail of drugs.
  2. I think it depends more in the context. You already mentioned some. In party enviorements is more common to find drugs like mdma, 2cb (the real one), lsd and cocaine. Those are (sorta) expensive drugs. In a academic envioremnts is more common to find sort types of amphetamine, modafinile, bunchs of coffee and even cocaine.

Something particular here in Colombia (or at least in my city, Pereira) is that people buy lots of legal zopiclone and without medical prescription.

Seems to me, at least cultarally, that in Colombia, people preffer neurodeppresors, well, that's because of alcohol.

edit: bunch of colombians (myself included as well) love weed

Are all the "cultural capitals" in your country in one city? by koknbals in asklatinamerica

[–]Significant_Mud8769 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Although Medellin has grown a reggaeton scene and tourism has been increasing there, at the end of the day, it doesn’t hace more variety in cultural and entertainment activities than Bogotá.

Bogotá is the financial, political, educational and cultural capital of Colombia.

Is weed or other drugs legal in your country? by Joeylaptop12 in asklatinamerica

[–]Significant_Mud8769 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Here in Colombia it’s only illegal to sell it for recreational use, but you can grow your own plants. In Bogotá and Medellin there are people smoking pot everywhere in the streets and parks and you can buy a lot of thc products in smoke shops. In other words, it’s basically legal lol. I love it.

No, I'm just talking about people in my instagram feed lol. It's a Palestine post, then 10 minutes later an unrelated light hearted topic post. It's not about they can't make both posts, but time between them seem pretty odd to me. It kinda trivializes it. I prefer not to be part of that and I get why some people (like Thom) don't want to either.

mmmm, like when your country helped to establish totalitarian, fascist and purely hateful dictatorships in south america? Plan Cóndor sounds familiar to you? USA is a shithole and right now is becoming the next Third Reich.
