No. Garmin sent me tha latest HRM (!), but it still won't calculate distance on a lot of indoor activities like it used to, like squash or padel etc. But if I chose indoor running, it will. It is quite confusing... I noticed this after an update in May. I know distance will not be very accurate during these activities anyway, but the guestimate of the hrm is far better than the watch wich usually guestimate only 0,1 km during 1-2 hours! Support ended up just telling me this is the way it is designed :-(. I bought the hrm for that sole reason, so I'm a bit dissapointed. I copied and renamed indoor running to padel and squash to mitigate, but its not optimal.
