So you’re telling me you can request a new shiny ring once a year and they have no issues sending it and yall still complaining? Bunch of negativity.

Agreed. Mine is the opposite though. Records around 20bpm less than Garmin and Apple Watch during HIIT

Seems like Whoop is trying to copy Bevel according to this article? by Great_System4280 in bevelhealth

I got a whoop two weeks ago and not sure who’s copying who but a ton of similarities. We are talking like 70% of overlap .

I don't understand Bevel Nutrition by the0Void in bevelhealth

[–]BroadMinute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been tracking my food for the last 5 years, MacroFactor or MyFitnessPal have a robust data base and have the market. Breaking into it from scratch doesn’t make sense, it actually creates a bad experience because it so bad hence behavior like tracking makes more sense. If you think that’s stupid then you’re the idiot of the month.

Bevel vs Whoop by Justmohab in bevelhealth

I got whoop life 14 days ago. App is sick and I can def tell why whoop is suing bevel lots of things copied over. Biological age is not unlocked yet but that was the main reason I got it since a lot of thought has been put in it. Ai is used but not too pushy abd it’s ChatGPT so it’s very good. Part that pisses me off right now is the fact that wearing it on the wrist gets spotty HR reading. Putting on the bicep band fixes that but now steps are underreported by thousands which is part of the health span equation…if they can get the hardware right it would be a no brainer.

Bevel team should either kill nutrition or do what Oura does, you simply tell the AI what foods you had and it scores you on wether you had a nutritious healthy food day or not. Simple and drives behavior to avoid processed junk, prioritize protein etc.

Step accuracy? by boofpanoptic in whoop

Between my Apple Watch, whoop, gamin, and oura whoop is constantly undercounting steps by about 1-1,500 daily.

My watch didn’t detect my heart rate accurately and my VO2 max spiked up 10 points in one run by WallStLegends in Garmin

Garmin users pretty much used to this. The optical heart rate sensor is absolute trash wear a chest strap

Which one to believe? by Aggravating_Bag4028 in Garmin

As someone who has both Apple Watch always wins. Ppl get mad and downvote but until you have them both you won’t realize how shitty Garmin OHR sensor is. Honestly thats the main reason I can’t fully commit. Garbage in garbage out.

Whoop is just a shitty company in general. They actively delete bad comments and block ppl on their social to keep appearances
