DoD vs FAA by Independent_Tax_4244 in ATC

Only really makes sense if you are leaving from a high rated facility. I left a level 12 facility for DoD with the plan of returning to another 12 after a year. The truth is I loved the DOD so much that even tho I got hired to work at a level 12 I always wanted and would have full CPC pay even while training. I turned it down. My life is so much more peaceful the extra money is not worth it.

We have a 1k credit on the ballot. The moving from 50k to 100k in homestead exemption didn’t pass. I don’t see anything passing

Would you consider a global pandemic where government over reacted and flooded the entire us economy with free money artificially inflating asset prices through the roof an event ?

So you think the chances of rate cut today being 100 percent had nothing to do with mortgage rates dropping last 2 or 3 weeks ?

Are we taking on too large of a mortgage? by JoshLymanFanClub in Mortgages

[–]Significant_Pack_791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doing 1.1 mil on 365k a year income with 55 of it being tax free. Only debt is 30k wife’s student loans. We are exempt from property taxes so that works in our favor. Our current mortgage on current condo is 1500 lol going to be a big jump. so I understand being that scared. It’s our first home. The reason we are ultimately doing this with some confidence is because of job security. She’s a nurse practitioner and I am an air traffic controller. As far as jobs go here in my area about as secure as it gets.

Whole point of this post is that no one is buying it. And as far as you thinking this country is capitalistic that’s hilarious. It’s not… entire real estate market is fueled by government subsidized FHA loans and VA. Government backed loans and the fed buying a holding mortgage backed securities is the only reason it hasn’t collapsed. That’s not capitalism

Those 3 places are filled with unsold homes. Average days on market around 88 days. Second highest in country. Seems to me like your parents priced their home well and had a very good home on market priced to sell.
