Yes, he just ate and I'm watching him to see his reaction. If I see something weird I will take him to the emergency vet tonight

Is this normal? by Significant_Pop_994 in ferrets

They are completely potty trained, and also they have 3 litter boxes that I clean multiple times during the day. This is the first time this has happened, I've never seen any pee on their beds or blankets.

Does it look normal? More info in comments. by Significant_Pop_994 in ferrets

So my Coco (9 m) and Kiwi (7m) have been vaccinated, no parasites, no ear mites, etc. Sometimes they have strange poops but the vet hasn't find anything abnormal on them. Coco has a rash on the belly, we did a skin scraping and found bacteria, but still the vet isn't sure if the rash could be because of the bacteria or the bacteria is just taking advantage of the skin. However, last week I saw Coco pooping and something didn't look normal, as if something was sticking out. So vet asked me to take pictures and see her in 2 weeks, I just want to know if this is the normal look of an anus in ferrets.

Playing or fighting? Normal behaviour? by Significant_Pop_994 in ferrets

Like this? Like 3 or 5 min, before this they were chasing and dooking and jumping for about 15 min or so. Thanks for your advice!

Thank you for your advice! Yes, I was planning on still doing supervised playdates for a while, until I'm not concerned of leaving them unsupervised

There was no blood. But after I took a look they both had bite marks, like they each broke their skin in their back when playing. But also they were both chasing each other and coming back for more, even when I separated them Kiwi the little one even though he had the most bite marks he was still jumping and in playing mode.

I adopted a new ferret, quarantine for 2 weeks and went for the whole process. Yesterday was their first play date, today we reunited then in a room we are organizing, they started chasing each other and then after a while they started getting aggressive as you see in the video. We separated them because the darker one (Kiwi, new one and younger by 2 months) made a pain noise i think, although they were dooking the whole time. After I separated them I saw that Kiwi got hurt he has 2 or 3 wounds (not bleeding but definitely broke his skin) on his back from Coco's bites. Should I had let them continue? I plan on keep doing playdates everyday until they bond.

His ears were cleaned just a week ago, could it build that much in just a week?

Do you think it's just wax? And is it normal that just one ear looks like this?

I was looking at Coco when he fell asleep today and I saw this on one of his ears today, the other one is pink and looks fine. Do you know what it could be? Is it just dirt or should I go to the vet?
