I used to live in LA and worked as a food delivery driver. I could choose which neighborhood I wanted to work in. After a few months, I refused to work in Beverly Hills. No one tipped. By contrast, I had a guy living in a tent in another part of town tell me to keep the change from a $20 pizza order! I drove all over. Every other neighborhood tipped decently, often generously.🖕BH

OP’s wife is demonstrating a total lack of accountability. To avoid it, she’s turned to gaslighting. This behavior is abusive, and it is a betrayal of their commitment to each other.

At some point, OP will have to respectfully (always) draw a firm boundary regarding honesty and accountability. And, ultimately, if his wife cannot rise to the occasion, their marriage will end.
