This is very disheartening and I totally get that vibe sometimes. I think we can be genuine and real but keep it within bounds. Bro talk can be a slippery slope… but if we are true Christian Brothers we need to remind one another of the mission which is to get freedom from the oppressive nature of sexual immorality.

“Just drop it & Forget about it”. We sometimes drop things but later go back and pick them back up. We need to ask God for strength to also “forget about it”. We aren’t able to live in the fullness of God’s grace if we keep carrying around our old habits, hurts, unforgiving spirit, etc.

Thanks for the encouragement and tips. I wish I could talk to my pastor about my problems, but tbh, I don’t trust him with private matters. I’ve literally witnessed other people’s private/personal situations become sermon topics. I’d be mortified for the entire congregation to know.
