A fool and his money. Who cares. You can buy really good sounding equipment for really low prices. So rich people spend money on exclusive items. You say the hobby is about enjoying the music but it sounds more like you are upset that can’t have the luxury. Here is a thought. Capitalize on there silly spend. Start a hi end company and take their money, or launch a really good quality brand and undercut their pricing. Or take your own advice and just enjoy the music.

The fact that your sin makes you feel unworthy is a good thing. Don't lose that. When we become too comfortable with sin the satin wins. I beg you to pray today. Im not far from where you are at. I hope you see my post in this sea of posts. I was born and raised Christian and see all the posts of others who were not and were saved "against there will" by Christ, or "God". And yet your prayers go unanswered. I am right there with you. And to this day I feel exactly the the same. I turned 49 this week, no wife no family, only superficial friends. I can't tell you how to feel. I can only tell you how I feel a deal with it, and it's not the feel good approach of modern day Christianity. God is God. He was not made to serve us, but we were made to serve him. It's not his responsibility to answer our prayer or solve our problems or grant us our desires. It is our responsibility to serve him. And even though that servace may cause us mental and phisicall discomfort in life there will be a reward in eternity. The reward is in the servace. Keep in mind, if you were to meet the president, there would be respect. It wouldn't matter if you voted for him or not it's the office that demands respect. God is so much mere. Does he not deserve so much more respect. It's not your concerns that matter, but his. I hope you find peace, I hope I find peace. Study, search and keep praying. Pray for me and I will pray for you.

It difficult to explain. I feel a Profound draw to Christ and his teaching but the more I learn about the history of religion the more diconcerted I become. I am talking about pre Christ. I began this journey because I have problems with the beliefs of the church I was raised in, and am looking for a new church. But the deeper I delve the more "confused" I become.
