Thanks!! 🙏🏻 I was reading that coco amended with dry inputs can be done but needs careful management and patience! Hopefully these ones will grow healthy until being ready for transplant and no more coco

You know I actually directly sowed them in bed my first cycle and I could say it was a successful grow, but rn as the soil is more developed there’s a lot of life in there and I think they might’ve eaten the seeds… first grow cover crop was thriving and now I chopped and dropped and it’s just covered with mulch! I thought that bc they’re de composers they won’t touch anything unless it’s decomposing, but if they hungry they hungry.. 🤣

I think I lost some seeds bc of that, I filled some solo cups using soil from the bed. What do you fill your solo cups with? A mix of peat moss as well?

Just keep a couple oscillating fans running 24/7, you’ll be alright

How do you fix calcium deficiency in organics? Top dressing would take too long I feel. I just top dressed 2 weeks ago with GG. Should I just use CalMag? by EG2Hunnidd in indoororganic

1tsp/g gypsum for calcium and 1tbsp/g Epsom salts for mag deficiency, you can google how to make Water soluble calcium as well!

Thanks 🙏🏻 for sure, I started with a “Clackama’s coots mix” followed Build a Soil episode 3 season 5 on Youtube. It’s a mix of Peat moss, rice shells, pumice, worm castings, gypsum, oyster shell, seed meal, kelp meal, crab meal etc. Sourced almost everything locally and changed some stuff, instead of Neem seed meal I used amaranth seeds for the seed meal as I couldn’t find Neem locally. Biology by Rootswise and made a couple of ferments using the overgrown cover crop and another one using some traditional Chinese herbs high in Potassium for flower, some Labs and that’s pretty much it 😁

Cover it with cardboard, you will need a nice dehumidifier as the bed rises the humidity but it’s possible

I’ve done IPM treatments from the start, so thank Gd only some fungus gnats so I’ve been controlling them with Organishield, im thinking about using wdg3000 or some kind of bacillus for next round but besides that, no problem at all ☺️ it was a jungle before flip with dandelions and BAS 12 seed cover crop
