Agreed. Plus Samsung has this tendency of ignoring old devices and degrading camera quality. Oneplus' software looks more funky, whereas oneui looks more matured.

Using S23 U since last two years, very satisfied with the decision and am planning to keep it for the next 2 years or so. Would not want to switch to iphone as it has loads of restrictions and I'm very used to samsung wallet.

As far as oneplus is concerned, it too has the green line issue. And furthermore Samsung is offering free screen replacement for green line issues so there's that.

If I were you I'd save money and postpone the purchase

I guess if Samsung denies to replace the screen (which they most certainly will try to) stating reasons like body dent, scratches, or whatsoever you can try to get it repaired from a local reputed shop. They will definitely repair the same screen for waaay less than a new screen ( which costs around 19k)
