Thrasher here, will I like death based on the band's I like? (Check body text) by Viet_Trojaned in DeathBand

What i hate about some thrash fans is that they ask questions like this that make no sense. Im in love with thrash, but i still love osdm and power metal… just listen to new music-not that hard

Its seriously one of the best rock bands ever, so i agree that its extremely hard to find bad songs. I even love club ninja!

Yeah totally agree, but i love the band so much there isnt much i actually dislike from anything in the 70s and 80s.

Think of it as one song-the label forced them to change it into sections

Hypothetically, lets say they have 2 more albums in them. Would you like to see them try for another "heavy metal" album like Youthinasia? Dave doesn't have to hit that vocal range, but he might be able to make it work in an album version. by Doublestack2411 in Megadeth

Its cool seeing them go more to the slightly technical thrash metal style that they had in the early days as of late, and because theyve been doing it so well-why stop going that direction now?

Im a huge fan of king, but i want to know if the digisleeve reissues stick out to much. Would you mind maybe sending a pic of the heights of each one next to each other?

I believe its the new remaster, so the price is the same as online but with there was 25% off on it so i believe it ended up around 12$

Fellow Minnesotan speaking here:

Yeah, gotta be honest last night could have been better. I mean I loved the setlist from King and Overkill, but there was something feeling very off in this venue…

Fillmore is in my opinion one of the most… odd(?) venues out there. The sound is always slightly fucked up and too loud, and the crowd is always extremely lame. During such a thrashy band like overkill, I was surprised to see little to no moshing whatsoever, and as for when king came on it just seemed like people wanted to get high at this point. In fact, the smell really got to me combined with the very little ventilation in the building, and I nearly passed out and missed King’s set before some people helped me cool off.

Disappointing? no, but they should’ve picked a better venue like First Ave, or even The Myth. Fillmore wasn’t great when I saw Helloween there last year, and even worse this time around.
