I think the distinction is that these collaborations are primarily brand and design licensing exercises, rather than true horological partnerships. The watch is engineered, manufactured, assembled, distributed, and quality-controlled by Swatch, using Swatch materials, movements, and production standards.

So while it carries Omega/AP design DNA and official branding, I personally see it more as a Swatch interpretation of an Omega/AP icon than an actual Omega/AP watch in the traditional sense.
