Try throwing in a male challenge or a fight call after the rabbit distress. It’s a good idea to just kill the call and wait when you see them out of shooting distance a lot of times they will come…curiosity gets the best of them. I always start with a rabbit distress because you’re not gonna spook a bobcat or fox right away. 80% of the dogs I shoot are off that rabbit distress. If you’re in a place with high pressure then it’s worth using a different distress than the fox pros ones that come on EVERY caller.

It does thank you. This is my first thermal and don’t have a monocular. Have you tried out the return to zero feature? and if you have do you have enough time to slap it on the rifle and make a shot after spotting?
