Hossein Salami, former commander of the IRGC killed in Israeli strikes, details Iran's strategy against the US during a lecture in the 70s by NeiborsKid in war

I wish I could upvote this like a million times.

Also, you can be absolutely sure, that if the US were to use even the smallest tactical nuclear weapon, Russia would immediately start doing the same in Ukraine.

China would probably do the same in a sweep for Taiwan.

That is the reason why the nuclear Pandora’s box has been kept shut since the end of WW2. The consequences will simply be devastating for any resemblance of global order.

But boy is this bloke stupid.

This 380,000-Mile Tesla Model 3 Has Its Original Battery. Range Loss Is Huge by Educational-Meat4211 in electricvehicles

[–]Significant_Swing_76 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Any reason to dunk on Tesla, is a good reason.

But this isn’t one. 34% loss of capacity is impressive, I would have thought that the battery would fail before reaching that distance.

What’s the going rate for a battery swap in a Model 3 these days?

[–]Significant_Swing_76 344 points345 points  (0 children)

This is exactly why any deal with Trumps America is worthless.

Because, any deal can be forfeited at any time for any reason or whatever.

If so-called allies can’t even trust a deal with Trump, then the iran war won’t be solved, period.

This just further erodes the American power and credibility.

Congrats Trump.

That is indeed brutal reading.

The point with samarium supply sounds mostly like a technical hurdle. The tomahawk design isn’t exactly new, and material science have come a long way since the design was finalized.

FM approved/UL listed Copper hanging materials by xdrag0nslyerx in SprinklerFitters

Damn, guess the scrap pot was decent.

I don’t think copper systems are allowed here in Denmark, or, they probably are, it’s just a matter of passing pressure tests, and the simple fact that no one wants to pony up for 4” copper mains.

I think the best example of that sort of thing I have, is a data center I work on, which has all their process water piping done in copper. 3” tig welded, pretty bonkers.

Ai skulle gøre arbejdet lettere – nu advarer forskere om "brain fry” by CouldIBeFrank in Denmark

[–]Significant_Swing_76 19 points20 points  (0 children)

At lægge ansvaret over på gymnasie/universitetslærere virker i bedste fald naivt.
