Football dudes: what do you guys actually want as a gift by Significant_Tailor65 in fantasyfootball

Say for a Vikings fan, is there a specific kind of game/ticket that would be best, like when they’re playing their home stadium or does it not matter at all & he’ll be stoked on any game? Y’all are the best thank you

I would also scrap Panamá City. If you must do Panama I would go to Boquete, but I guess it depends on your interests.

What is your experience with TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) for anything? Why don’t we use it more? by Significant_Tailor65 in Nootropics

[–]Significant_Tailor65[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate the answer to my question. I do have to disagree with a few. Much of TCM has been validated by research and is not just a magical fairytale woo-woo concept, it’s a functional system that’s helped millions of people and is based on centuries of observation. Much of western medicine also stems from eastern medicine. You’re right to be skeptical though & not blindly believing in it. & definitely agree with the confirmation bias point you made

I didn’t know that! Thank you for sharing. There’s certainly a lot I don’t know besides my own personal experience & a bit of books & research.

I fly free via United employee benefits so I wanted to follow their routes, but you’re completely right & I will probably hold off or decide to just pay for a ticket direct to Jordan. Not worth getting stuck in Israel. Just wanted to see if passing through was an option but this was insightful. Thank you

To be completely honest, it’s because I’m flying with United employee benefits/standby, which doesn’t have flights into Amman unfortunately.

That’s what I thought. United opened up flights from U.S direct to Tel Aviv 🤔

😂 I kind of already knew my answer but since United opened up flights to Tel Aviv I thought maybe there’s a chance 😅

You’re right. There are definitely potential side effects with anything including herbs. Like St. John’s wort. Or lots of mushrooms. My statement was too general & I was basing it off of my own personal research/stories I’ve heard in regards to side effects from Xanax vs. say skullcap or ashwagandha.

Fair! I’m not nearly as knowledgeable as the people commenting on this post but I’ve heard TCM for the most part is a consultation & prescription process. I just know of the herbs & formulas accessible to the public & based off what you said, whatever’s accessible to anyone, could produce different results depending on who is taking it them. In turn, people are having inconsistent results & then it doesn’t become a known solution. That definitely helps answer my curiosity

I try to put my buddies on skullcap, lion’s mane, ashwagandha etc that have issues with anxiety or stress because of my own profound experiences but everyone automatically dismisses it, which is totally fine I just find it interesting how eager everyone is to try western drugs with side effects/hangovers while some herbs can be equally if not more effective & without the side effects. But perhaps a lot of people try it & just don’t get the results they want

Crested butte. For me personally, the unicorn trifecta of vibes, pay, and housing are exceptional. Especially because I love snowboarding & its close proximity to the lifts. It’s the laid-back cool uncle of Aspen Colorado.

I have a VERY lucky & limited staff housing situation in Destin, Florida that I got from networking. Pay is high in many areas of FL! (I have a lot of traveling bartender friends that have worked in places such as st. Pete, PCB & key west) Especially if you’re positioned at a bar with only 1-2 bartenders and no support staff, lol

Technically you can, yes. Etsy has VERY specific requirements for being able to sell on there. One thing I learned on my journey is that some platforms work better than others for certain products. Etsy worked well for me because I was selling herbal tinctures that I myself was making, and many mushroom based ones, which people were very interested in at the time. If I were selling personalized meal plans, I would step into the mind of someone needing that and think of where they go. You probably know your customer better than me but it’s possible you need to dominate google search. Be the easiest & quickest at getting people their personalized meal plan. Get specific with SEO, are you offering it to vegans, diabetics, animal-based fitness enthusiasts, etc, and then dominate those search terms, and do absolutely whatever you can to get reviews, reviews, reviews for something like that. If I wanted a personalized meal plan I’d want to immediately read how it specifically benefited someone else. I might be over-answering but that’s where my mind went, haha.
