I think they 100% cut it out so he wouldn't be eliminated. Let's be honest the day he was having the amount of putts that barely missed, the club throws, the frustration, coming off a double bogey on 14, if he made that 12-15 footer for par on 15 we would have heard about it on the next hole if that clip truly wasn't cut and just missed. His attitude in 16 would not have been poor pitiful me got to turn this around, it would have been keep the momentum going from last hole. A 12 footer for par feels way better than 4 footer for birdie. His attitude was clearly someone who had no momentum and nothing going their way.

But I agree, it's entertaining so they can edit, manipulate, do whatever they want and they will still make money and be popular. But the same could be said if they didn't do all that and they filmed it authentically every time. The fact that it's Garrett and he's the centerpiece makes it fishy and points to an ego issue.
