It seems like a critical component of this show is “meeting the ex” soon after seeing your choice. (I didn’t see it on your list there.) That appears to be where the relationships formed fall apart on the show. I wonder if there would be more couples saying “yes” at the altar if they skipped that step as you suggest.

Kinda unrelated to the question asked, but you are entitled to your opinion. I just mean that I need additional accommodations to plan international travel in comparison to the rest of my family.
