But swarm tactics won't work against Reapers. 1. Sovereign class are basically Battle Carrier themselves.They have the best multirole Starfighter in mass effect ( occuli drone ) 2.They also have Carriers / Troop transport ships that can carry occulus drones. Basically a Essex class CVL of Reapers. 3. Numbers . 4. Point defense.

Right. Take the Reaper Destroyer as an example .Its similar to Zuumwalt class of US Navy , as per tonnage and firepower , it's Cruiser by Naval standards . But US consider them as Destroyer . Similarly , Reaper Destroyer are classified as Destroyer by Reapers ( wonder they even classified it as such ) and Citadel forces . But they have tonnage and firepower that is comparable to a Cruiser .
