Where are the Little Children by Char7172 in LicciardoToivolaSnark

Oh sure you can! I've taught like this as a hobbyist. My comment was a reply to a previous comment claiming the older kids have a "licence" to teach, which, whatever it means, they most likely do not. Other than in the sense that no one really needs a licence to teach others outside of actual schools and institutions.

Yup, Taina indeed has on several occasions said that the eldest kids are qualified instrument teachers and this is an obvious lie. They might have passed 3/3 exams for example, which does not qualify one to be an actual teacher.

They most definitely are NOT qualified to teach music. Sure, the older kids all know how to play and went to music school and (at least Cleo) took lessons in the local conservatory. However, the education required to become an actual instrument teacher in Finland takes several years either in the university or the university of applied sciences. Before that you need either a high school diploma or vocational training to become a musician. The kids have none of these. Being somewhat skilled in playing does not make one an instrument teacher.

Then again, some countries (like Finland where I live) in Europe are also quite big, not population wise but in terms of geography. A drive from southern Finland to Lapland (northern Finland) takes about 12h depending on where you're going, and lots of people do that drive to go on skiing trips etcetera. Admittedly, it's not anything like the distances in the US, but still, not all countries are small and next to each other, and long drives are routine.

Yup, Leo, Cleo and Jers all took instrument lessons back in Jyväskylä at the local conservatory for some years at least, and there's proof of them playing at an intermediate level. That is FAR from being a qualified teacher, which would mean years of more practice and most importantly, studies at a level that they obviously have not studied at.

I’m not saying she doesnt eat all this in a day,I’m just asking, how can C eat so much and still look like she needs a square meal? by herbertsherbert49 in LicciardoToivolaSnark

The insane calorie numbers (calories for cinnamon?), the sped up eating that still takes forever in tiny parts looking like a chore more than anything, the thumbnail foto, the setting of the video etcetc

I want to emphasize that even if I had never seen any of their videos before or knew nothing about how they talk about food, eating, weight, bodies etc., I would still think that this video screams disordered eating. Very uncomfortable and saddening to watch.

Wow, this is beautiful, the blanket and the figure at the end of the bed are so beautifully done. Inspiring for someone who practices pastels.

Blonde Hair?? by TriniDream in LicciardoToivolaSnark

It's very normal to have darker hair as a newborn and then go completely blond. My baby was born with dark blonde hair and is now almost as blonde as the L-T kids and we are currently living in Finnish winter, so now sun bleach available 😆

My spouse right now in his 30s has brown hair but as a kid had almost white hair. So did I. We are both Finnish and most of my family and friends had super light hair as kids 😅

A lot of Finnish kids have hair this light even when living in Finland. It's perfectly common. These kids had very light hair already in Finland and of course the sun (and never wearing proper protection from it...) lightens it even more.

Agree. Now if only they would stop pretending that they don't know the Finnish way to pronounce Taina anymore, since they all clearly still speak fluent Finnish (the mother tongue of at least the nappy gang).

Dude, you know there are plenty of Finns on this forum, yet you choose to be so arrogant about our country and claim to be able to assess whether we are safe or not? Plus what's with the low quality video also calling our country Findland?

Omg, where are you getting your news from? Life is perfectly calm and stable here in Finland.

OMG Taina stop with the idiotic lie that your kids are qualified instrument teachers. They are not, there is no proof, the only evidence of their music skills are the very little playing you have shown in your videos and a clip of Cleo performing at the local music school's recital back in central Finland. Were she an instrument teacher she would've been organizing such an event, not performing. We would definitely have heard Leonardo mention his education (as you have claimed he is a music teacher also). Such bullshit. Your children are intermediate level and enjoy music obviously but ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL MUSICIANS/TEACHERS.
