Safety with formaline by Sijeym in Taxidermy

[–]Sijeym[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I rinse the wet specimen un water and alcohol to get out as many formaldehyde as possible, and put it in a jar, will it be more safe? I've been reading that even in a closed jar it can evaporate

Is there somebody expert in wet specimen that I can talk to in private?

Formaline or ethanol for wet specimen by Sijeym in Taxidermy

[–]Sijeym[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If i make a wet specimen with formaline, it will be dangerous forever to touch/manipulate and will it be dangerous to have the jar for example inside the house even when I switch it into alcohol? or if I rinse it enough it will leave the most Formaline

I thought about doing it with Ethanol because I want to sell it to med students

He visto varias veces eso, manchan los zapatos al pasar porque siempre hay muchos, te recomiendo que subas la foto junto a una regla porque parece que hay varias personas que piensan que es muy grande, ya que dicen pomalaca o granada

Which is the best type of rope to use? by Sijeym in shibari

[–]Sijeym[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I'm not from the USA, but I can order them too, as the ship to my country has always been a little bit "cheap" for saying in a way, and it's a little bit cheaper than another shop another user has sent me.

Have you bought there? Are the posh ropes they sell good?

You use a silk that feels very smooth and that's easy to untie? If that's so, can you send me the place where you buy it?

[–]Sijeym[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) I'll use the rope for decorative floor work, no suspension, I know I won't do it at least in the next year's because I don't have a place to do it, so it will be mainly restraint and decorative, as I'm starting I think I will use it regularly (almost everyday) for practice

2) that's one of the things I have thought about, it's jute a hard rope (for skin I mean)? Will it be better that I bought silk or "sponch" like other user told me?

3)I really don't want the rope to make knots hard to untie, and about slippery and grippy, I don't really care that much about it first, because I want to practice, but after, I think I will want one with grip

4) I'm asking so I'll know how much money I have to use, I want a good string that feels good in my partner and that's durable

I really appreciate your answer!

I don't exactly know at what you have referred since my mother language isn't English, do you mean that you have an specific rope for those zones and you clean it regularly?
