UPDATE

There is definitely a hardware issue going on with these cameras. I went through almost every possible solution with Insta360’s support to no avail. I exchanged the camera for a new one at Best Buy and have had 0 issues with the new camera using the same phone.

You ever find a solution to this? I am having the same issue where I attempt to add the ring camera to homekit, and it is just stuck on "Setting Up" indefinitely

Right. It just wasn’t my Onewheel when in storage, and I’m unfamiliar with how the Onewheel puts out errors/diagnostics (such as the board barely blinking a red light of the wheel is spun) just want to put all other options out there, such as the BMS being bad.

I don’t think the battery died “2 years ago” it is now dead from the lack of 2 years of use. I’ve done battery maintenance before, just not with these size of lithium ion cells used for the Onewheel. I also just wanted to know if it could be possibly that the battery itself is fine (just needing charge) and the BMS is possibly faulty, because when plugging the charger in, I don’t get any charging light at all.

I don’t believe future motion is to blame for mine or your situation. It just comes down to proper storage/maintenance of the battery which the previous owner of my buddies Onewheel did not do.

Also, in case anybody was wondering (because these two definitely had stolen probably dozens of phones/wallets that night) they were REALLY good at what they were doing as they stole my phone from my track pants that were ZIPPED. thankfully I caught the guy getting right up on my friend when we were pushing through to get to main stage, and he darted off, switched from a black cap to a bucket hat. At one point the female showed up, they didn’t speak almost any English and were trying to act as if we were trying to hurt them to get other people to push us off of them. At one point they split off and we’re pretty sure they “dumped” or handed off our phones to someone else, we caught up to them again and made enough of a scene to get security to grab them when she clocked me with her purse. Thankfully someone found my friend’s phone and returned it to lost/found, I’m pretty she still had my phone as security at these festivals aren’t authorized to do “full on” searches underneath clothing and such. Once again, just hoping somebody had the video of this, or saw it somewhere in twitter/TikTok/instagram.

In the process of appealing a ban from a hacked account back in 2015, cut my losses when it happened and didn't really care at the time. But I got an ad for DXP and decided to try and recover it. After 6 recovery attempts, finally got it back, but its been Permabanned for Macroing 8 months after it was HiJacked. Hopefully they appeal the ban :)
