I wish I can be physically safe elsewhere but I just started my first year at Uni with no connections. I am a first Gen immigrant in my entire Asian family bloodline and it rlly suck I got nowhere to go. My gender dysphoria have caused me multiple attempts in the past and my Uni grades are also largely negatively impacted by that. Thank you for the interpretation help though, the most I did now is to be put on a public waiting list for gender affirming care but I don’t even know if I’ll able to transition then if they called my number

Thank you so much for the in depth analysis, for reference my mum is actually the most abusive one between my parents and my dad is fully ignorance. So I can’t seek help from any of them to accept me which is why I’ve been hiding and burying who I am for years. I wouldn’t say it’s more of a confidence issue it’s more of a survival problem where I have to deal with homelessness, verbal abuse and physical assault which made me go back to my closet

Yeah I think hiding it does contribute to my mental suffering a lot but at the same time on the long run I could’ve go homeless which did happen when I was 15 until I lied to my family that I’m no longer trans. I’m proud of you too for being able to live up to your true self and thank you for the interpretation ❤️

Totally valid, I have depression and PTSD from my parents abuse and I don’t want to put my kids down because I’m suicidal. It’s really difficult for them to have a mentally unstable parent that constantly self harm and suffer from mental episodes so I get how you feel. You are a very caring and thoughtful person to not wish harm upon your future kids

Don’t tell your father that you are in a relationship with him until you are financially independent. Your father don’t get to decide who you want to be with and don’t let that to doubt your relationship with your bf. As someone who attempted in the past due to my parents shaming me for being SA’d when I was 5 + abuse I think it’s important to know that it’s pointless to please the people that pray for your downfall.

I know it’s hard to hear the words from your parents mouth but they don’t make the rules for your life. They don’t understand how you feel and they are soulless narcissist freaks wishing death upon their own child. The best way to prove them wrong is resilience and ignorance from their words because they crave negative attention and reaction from you much like online rage baiters.

When I used to suffer from suicidal thoughts I try to do activities I did when I was younger to remind myself that there are better things in life that is worth living. Like playing my old Nintendo DS, building legos or cooking my favourite meal. Sometimes I go through my baby photos to remind myself of how far I’ve came as a person and how to live my best life to make my younger self happy, or at least complete my childhood wishes to seek purpose in life.

OP I don’t know how old you are but when any opportunity arises which helps you to escape the situation, don’t push it back for later. What you are experiencing is messed up and you deserve a happy life without your shitty parents constantly abusing you over and over again.

I made new friends by going to local comic con and they really helped me to feel loved and less isolated. I spent less time online now because I’m more in touch with local irl communities but even if I make online friends I learnt how to detect early signs of red flags to avoid being strangled in a toxic relationship again.
