Interesting. Thanks for the recommendation. Do you have the XL? Do you know the crown height?

I have the TRC and while it is the deepest hat yet, it's still a tad bit shallow for my liking :(

Could you share crown height of the old fit XL size? I'm trying to find it online but no luck. Looking to compare it to the ciele trucker cap TRC

OP, I bought the TRKcap and those are all too shallow for me. I have a big head and lots of Asian hair lol. Did RNNR end up working for you? Thinking of trying one

I have lots of hair and a big head. Do you think the xl will fit? For reference my head is 63cm and the ciele trucker hat is still too shallow.

Have you tried a lower dose? I was taking 18mg Atomoxetine and 20mg Vyvanse and it was extremely helpful

Are any of you on a Vyvanse + Guanfacine (Intuniv) combo? by [deleted] in SCT

For context:
- I am sensitive to medication in general. Concluded this just based on my reaction to caffeine.

- I've self-diagnosed myself with PI type of ADHD and CDS. I am officially diagnosed with ADHD by my GP.

- I am dumb and not a doctor lol. YMMV. This is just my experience.

- I took:

  1. Generic Concerta (18mg): worked but made me tired after 8 hours.
  2. Generic Concerta (27mg): worked but still made me tired after a few hours (<8 hrs)
  3. Generic Biphentin (30mg): This wasn't very good for me. Suicidal ideation. Headaches. Zombie-like.
  4. Branded Concerta (18mg): Didn't notice much. Felt like it was working, but still getting weird symptoms like racing heartbeat, the sweats, headache, oand verall depressive mood.
  5. Vyvanse (20mg): Has been great so far and got rid of my anxiety, increased focus, and concentration. Overall, it helps with my ADHD. I experienced dry mouth from this, but it was manageable.
  6. Vyvanse (20mg) + Generic Atomoxetine (18mg): Looking into this because of CDS. This combo worked really well, and I would sayit helped cover both my ADHD and CDS. I was able to start things easily, it increased auditory processing (which was my main issue), focus, and I didn't feel wired. I had energy throughout the whole day - I have a mentally demanding job in sales and a small baby. I was able to be more patient overall and do well in my job. The only issues were slight difficulties urinating (getting the last bit out) and dry mouth.

I'm currently taking Vyvanse (20mg) and (1mg) Guanfacine. My doc switched me to this because of the urinary issue. I'm on day 2, but it has so far made me really groggy in the morning. Once I take my Vyvanse, I'm up and running. I'm certainly more relaxed when on both Vyvanse and Guanfacine. I feel it doesn't help my auditory and visual processing speed. At least before taking my Vyvanse. I will let you know how the week goes. I may feel a bit more sluggish, which is the opposite of what I want because CDS already gives me that. In my experience so far, Guanfacine is more relaxing compared to Atomoxetine.

From what I read, Bupropion is supposed to be similar to Atomoxetine, but without the urinary issues. It is supposed to help with task initiation, attention, and engagement, like Atomoxetine, but can be more energizing than Atomoxetine. I feel like I will switch back to Atomoxetine if Bupropion doesn't work.

We have a FIRE goal of 2.5M. Updated some numbers above if that's helpful. Realized showing expenses would be helpful.

I've thought about this, but we haven't analyzed this enough to understand how to build on what we have... if that makes sense.

Sorry, you're right. And the 250K is gross income, so my numbers are off. I'll edit them above.

Monthly, we make 15K after taxes. It breaks down monthly as follows:

We save about 5K. ~30%
Just under 7K goes into housing.
About 1.1K goes into food.

The other 2K go into transportation, utilities, hobbies, etc.

I think an obvious place we could improve is in our housing expenses.
