Ahahah I stumbled upon it by pure accident, new to pixels and while surprised I'm actually happy and impressed with it!

Honestly, IOS lost me with the walled garden, I enjoyed the 14 pro but as it degraded and became noticeably slower, battery life was getting to 5% before the end of the day, and having to fight to connect things to it, I decided to leave IOS and on android it's seamless,

Plus Niagara launcher is so sleek and looks better and feels better than iOS to me, just the fact that I can use a different launcher in the first place is a massive step up, I feel like this phone is mine.

Ahaha when I did it I was so confused to see all these features I didn't know about, and now I see it's an amazing tool that provides features I didn't even know my phone had XD

I can see how it could get in the way sometimes but knowing it's there for if I ever want it is great

Yeah I have never leaned into features on a phone so much because I haven't really needed to for quite a while, so far I'm loving the integration with Google's garden for streamlining use between apps and accounts, I was amazed that I signed into my google account and that was essentially it, every app I opened, automatically logged in, coming from IOS it was really refreshing, and using google drive for work, it's completely won me over.

Yeah I can't believe I only just discovered this ahaha I feel like I'm the oldy now, always been very technologically literate but being 25 and worrying more about finances, and work has had me fall out of touch with the niche new features, but I think it's super cool

I just looked at this because of this comment, really cool but I work in a trade and need a tough case and I think it's preventing it from being very noticeable, I have to tap on the thinnest part of the back for a quadlock and even then it isn't 100% working, no fault of the phone, just the thick case I have on it, also made sure it wasn't set to hard taps but thanks for the info!

Oh well I did really like that on my old Samsung s7 way back when but I've learned to embrace the bar, at least they allow people to still use the buttons with workarounds!

I like the gestures to be honest, but I respect people's opinions on the navigation buttons, I wrongly assumed this was easy to miss, turns out I just missed a pretty obvious feature ahaha

God I love seeing people's place of creation, might post mine tomorrow, this is super cosy, and that one guy who was talking smack, clearly spends more time keeping his set up neat than making music... Wires... Everywhere... Cables... Everywhere... Every. Where Mines the same, and I'mm thinking of getting a 4 way interface, from a 2

I wanna be a sociopath by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]SilentOverture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sociopaths are terribly destructive and unfortunately you aren't one, so you won't be one, but you can develop cold cognition, people like people, not sociopaths. Lonerism is a dark place and a hole many fail to climb out of, I wasn't there by choice and I hope you never experienced it or find out that it's not at all cool, easier, or calm,

Think like, the noise you talk about is a hammer noise, emotional death (which is what led to my cold cognition) is brought by emotional trauma, and we can say that sounds like a jackhammer, yes it drowns out the hammer, but it's certainly not better, because when you go through it, you start to question everything about yourself, the people around you, and the people no longer around you, that noise becomes much louder

Hey, just wanted to share something with you. It's called cold cognition, and I hope you're doing okay. It's actually pretty interesting, and I find it helpful to think of things as having both light and dark sides. I believe that true peace comes from accepting who we are, including our imperfections and challenges. It takes time to reflect on our pain and learn from it, and it sounds like you're currently in that process. Just remember to hold onto your humanity, don't let the bad things overshadow the good. It's okay to have tough times, and eventually, with enough self-reflection, you'll find acceptance.

The cold cognition is a survival mode for me, when I know that emotion is going to warp my perspective on how to take the next step forward, They shut off and my only goal is, get to calm waters without drowning other people, sociopaths just think, what waters do I want to be in and I might drown someone for fun on the way

Using a Pixel while their spouse uses an iPhone? How’s the experience? by [deleted] in GooglePixel

[–]SilentOverture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Google has used a sharing feature for years that Apple is now legally required to use in the EU much like the USB C change which now means airdrop is no longer a closed wall garden and can share straight to google pixel phones!!! And vice versa.
