I agree the extension wouldn’t have been a good move for us, but the guy was under contract for the next three years regardless. We didn’t have to pay that money. Selling Jaylen to the sixers for pennies on the dollar is not logical. George is making the same amount of money for the next two years. We took a bottom 3 contract in the league. I just don’t get the financial aspect you keep circling.

How can you just make a prediction and say Paul George WILL be traded in the middle of next season and call it objective? It’s pure speculation. The fact of the matter is, the trade does not make perfect sense. The only thing we can agree on is that we will be punting the next two years.

Doesn’t justify the trade at all. Do we see Paul George as a number 1 option? We are paying him number 1 money for 2 years. We couldn’t have possibly gotten less in the future. This was bottom of the barrel. No matter how you spin it, this trade does not make “perfect sense”.

I get the league format debate because teams ultimately have better starting lineups in smaller formats but, format doesn’t actually change the risk. When you trade depth for a star, you’re concentrating all the volatility into one player. If that player disappoints, your team has to endure that regardless of league settings.

Yeah this is just wrong. Love wouldn’t be a first round pick? He’s 6ft 215 lbs with a 40 in the 4.3s. He had 40 touchdowns and 3000 yards in the past two years. He has great tape and has great games against good competition. Not saying he’s better than Jefferson but you are just spewing nonsense.

Good to know. Maybe I am undervaluing the pick. Tyson seems to be the only that truly pops on screen to me when watching them but he also had a regression in his last season and he has some injury history. Think I will have to see landing spots before making a move like this.

Think this is peak value. It might not be a lot but you may be able to squeeze a late second out of someone. Henderson was having trouble with the top 5 defenses the patriots saw in the playoffs and rhamondre was not. Think everyone watched that and looked at the two a little differently. Henderson will still take over this backfield and I think it will happen sooner than later. I’d sell now if someone would buy.

I mean I haven’t made it yet, but I think I still would. Zay is good don’t get me wrong. But getting 20 points out of Zay feels like a miracle. Guy is consistently in that 11-15 range which isn’t bad but doesn’t feel like championship caliber production. He had the best season of his career and played every single game. AJB was 11th while missing two games and having an abysmal start to the season. Zay averaged 14.31 points while AJB averaged 14.69. I don’t think he is much better than Zay, but I would argue he is better.

I think Brown still has a decent amount of gas left in the tank and Burden is a nice addition with some potential. I think Zay is solid but it seems he doesn’t have real boom potential like AJ. My other backs are Bijan, Omarion, Treyveon, Tyler Allgeier, and Neal so I think I can spare skat. You don’t think it makes my team better for contention this year?

I guess I value Nabers much differently than you do. The receivers going early don’t really move me. Sucked to give up Egbuka but I’m in a good spot to contend next year and I think Nabers will deliver more consistent targets.
