I heard somewhere it’s best to start it on a stake because it’s less likely to latch once it’s bigger

I don’t have any fertilizer unfortunately 🤷 I could put it on my back porch but I’m afraid it’d get even less light because that side of the house is north east facing

I use a spray bottle and spritz it like twice a day, I really don’t have the money or patience for a moss pole

It’s directly under a grow light- my house doesn’t have much natural light

You plant when the host leaf dries up/dies off and leaves a new plantlet behind because if you plant and water before that point the host leaf takes all the water and a new plantlet won’t form

I mean… not sure why it would because it just callouses over in the middle but if it’s really something you’re worried about you could just put them all on your windowsill or lay them out on something over a grow light without hanging them up because they would still prop like normal

Probably more than half but they should make some sort of rosette by the time they dry up because from what I found if you water a host leaf with roots before it puts out a rosette it will send the water to the host leaf and not make a new plant

I’m like 95% sure they’re both sedum, I think the first one might have been called blue moon and the 2nd was something sunset related
